Impact and Results
The Rishi and Milan Khosla Foundation strongly believes in measuring the results and the impact of its initiatives. A thorough analysis of activities and programmes is undertaken periodically to assess their impact and gauge how successful they have been in meeting their goals. The Foundation believes it is important to audit its performance to understand how many lives it has been able to impact either directly or indirectly through its efforts.
Medical Research and Health
- Impacted many lives by funding medical research and other educational institutes in UK, USA and Canada
Early Childhood Development and Education
- Positively impacted the lives of over 5000 underprivileged tribal children in Rajasthan, India through ECD projects
- Over 2000 children benefitted from sanitation infrastructure developed in schools of Maharashtra, India
- Over 2000 children benefitted from malnutrition reduction initiatives in Madhya Pradesh, India
- Over 1000 girls acquired new skills to lead a quality life in Jharkhand, India
Women Empowerment
- Provided scholarships to over 1000 meritorious girl students to pursue higher studies in Punjab, India
- Provided dry ration food kits to poor families in Uttarakhand, India to help them get through the lockdown imposed because of COVID-19
- Distributed Sewing Machines to women to provide them a source of livelihood in Uttarakhand, India
- Trained over 1200 women to develop a cadre of trained childcare workers in Nandurbar, Maharashtra
Environment
- Planted fruit trees to provide additional income to 70 farmers and also contributed towards preservation and protection of the local environment in Uttarakhand, India
- Tapped stream water by laying the pipeline and constructing a tank in Chhibau village of Chakarata to provide round the clock water to village population
